These Terms of Service govern your use of the NovaStudioHub platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

About NovaStudioHub

NovaStudioHub Technologies LTD ("NovaStudioHub", "we", "us", "our") operates a digital agency platform at novastudiohub.com. The platform allows clients to browse and commission digital services from our in-house team of specialists, covering web development, SEO, social media management, email marketing, and e-commerce.

We are registered in Nigeria. These terms are governed by applicable Nigerian law.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

If you are registering on behalf of a company or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Account Registration

To access most features, you need to create an account. When you do:

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You must not share your account with anyone else
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are being used in violation of these terms or in a way that harms other users or the platform.

Client Accounts

As a client, you can browse services, place orders, submit project requirements, communicate with the assigned team member, and leave reviews after a project is completed.

When placing an order, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete project requirements promptly after payment
  • Respond to reasonable questions from the team within a reasonable timeframe
  • Review delivered work honestly and in good faith
  • Pay the agreed price before work begins

Delays in providing requirements or feedback that extend the project timeline are your responsibility as the client.

Freelancer and Team Member Accounts

Freelancer accounts are available by invitation only through a private registration link. All freelancer applications are manually reviewed and approved by NovaStudioHub.

As a team member on the platform, you agree to:

  • Deliver work that meets the standard described in your service listings
  • Communicate professionally and promptly with clients
  • Only create gigs for services you are genuinely qualified to deliver
  • Not solicit clients to transact outside the platform
  • Not post false or misleading information in your profile or gig descriptions

NovaStudioHub reserves the right to suspend or remove team members who fail to maintain service quality or who violate these terms.

Orders, Payments, and Delivery

All payments are processed through our platform via WooCommerce-connected payment gateways including Flutterwave. Prices are set per gig and per pricing tier. You pay the displayed price at checkout before work begins.

Order flow:

  1. Client selects a service tier and completes payment
  2. Client submits project requirements
  3. Team member works on the project within the stated delivery timeframe
  4. Completed work is submitted for client review
  5. Client approves delivery or requests a revision within the number of revisions included in their tier
  6. Order is marked complete

Delivery timeframes begin when the client submits their requirements, not when payment is made. If you do not submit your requirements, we cannot start work.

Revisions are limited to the number specified in your chosen pricing tier. Additional revisions beyond that limit may be quoted separately.

Refunds and Cancellations

We want every client to be satisfied with the work they receive. Our refund policy is as follows:

If you are not satisfied with the delivered work after using all included revisions, contact us. We will review the case and, where the delivered work materially fails to match the agreed brief, we will offer either a further revision or a partial refund at our discretion.

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

  • The work was delivered and accepted by you
  • You changed your mind about the project after work began
  • You failed to provide requirements within 30 days of payment, in which case the order may be marked complete automatically
  • The dissatisfaction is due to factors outside the agreed scope, such as a change in your business direction or personal preference changes after delivery

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of the delivery date.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment and completion of an order, ownership of the delivered work transfers to you, the client, unless otherwise agreed in writing before the project starts.

NovaStudioHub retains ownership of all platform content, design, code, branding, and the platform itself. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

By uploading content (such as logos, brand materials, or copy) to the platform for use in your project, you grant us a limited licence to use that material solely for the purpose of completing your order.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the platform to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code
  • Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the platform by automated means
  • Circumvent any security or access controls
  • Arrange transactions for services outside the platform in order to avoid platform fees
  • Post spam, unsolicited messages, or promotional content in the messaging system
  • Use the platform in any way that could damage, overload, or impair its operation

Violations may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, legal action.

Reviews and Ratings

After a project is marked complete, clients may leave a star rating and written review. Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on actual experience with the service received.

You must not:

  • Post false or defamatory reviews
  • Offer or accept incentives in exchange for reviews
  • Attempt to manipulate ratings through fake accounts

We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

Platform Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.

We are not liable for losses resulting from service interruptions, provided we make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly and give advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NovaStudioHub will not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Losses arising from delays, errors, or omissions in delivered work where those are outside our reasonable control
  • Third-party payment processing failures or errors

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform will not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a client and a team member over a project, both parties should first attempt to resolve it directly through the platform messaging system.

If a resolution cannot be reached within 7 days, either party may escalate to NovaStudioHub by contacting us. We will review the dispute, including the order history, communications, and delivered work, and issue a decision within 14 days. Our decision on platform-level disputes is final.

For disputes between you and NovaStudioHub directly, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter in good faith before seeking formal legal remedies.

Account Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We will process your request within 30 days and remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or the platform. Where an account is terminated due to a breach, any outstanding payments may be withheld depending on the circumstances.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law, or platform features. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

Continuing to use the platform after updated terms take effect means you accept the changes. If you do not agree with updated terms, you should close your account before they come into effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes that proceed to formal legal action will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts, unless otherwise required by the law of your country of residence.
